This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the Lunadesk.ai platform, website, and related services (collectively, the “Service”).
By using the Service, you consent to the data practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not use the Service.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information You Provide to Us
Account Information. When you create an Account, we collect your name, email address, company name, phone number, and billing information (processed and stored by our third-party payment processor).
Profile and Settings. Information you provide when configuring the Service, including team member details, AI response rules, brand guidelines, return policies, SLA configurations, and response templates.
Communications. Information you provide when you contact us for support, send us feedback, or otherwise communicate with us.
1.2 Information Collected Through Marketplace Connections
When you connect your Marketplace accounts (such as Amazon, Walmart, Shopify, or TikTok Shop) to the Service, we collect and process:
Buyer Messages. Customer service communications between you and your buyers, including message content, timestamps, and associated metadata.
Order Data. Order details associated with buyer inquiries, including order IDs, item descriptions, order amounts, shipping information, tracking numbers, delivery status, and return information.
Account Metrics. Seller performance metrics available through Marketplace APIs, such as response times and order fulfillment data.
Listing Data. Information about your product listings as needed to provide the Service.
We access this information through official Marketplace APIs using the authorization you provide. We only collect the data necessary to provide the Service and do not access data beyond the scope of the API permissions you grant.
1.3 Information Collected Automatically
Usage Data. We collect information about how you interact with the Service, including pages visited, features used, actions taken, timestamps, and session duration.
Device and Browser Information. We collect your IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device type, and screen resolution.
Cookies and Similar Technologies. We use cookies, pixel tags, and similar technologies to collect information about your use of the Service. See Section 7 for more details.
Log Data. Our servers automatically record information when you access the Service, including your IP address, the date and time of your request, referral URL, and pages viewed.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
Providing the Service. To operate, maintain, and deliver the features and functionality of the Service, including processing buyer messages, displaying order data, generating AI-powered responses, and tracking SLA compliance.
AI Features. To power the AI response drafting and auto-send capabilities, including analyzing buyer messages, order data, and your configured rules to generate appropriate responses.
Billing and Payments. To process your subscription payments, track message usage, and manage your billing account.
Communication. To send you service-related notices, updates, security alerts, and support messages. To respond to your comments, questions, and support requests.
Analytics and Improvement. To understand how users interact with the Service, identify trends, and improve the Service’s functionality, performance, and user experience.
Security. To detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent, unauthorized, or illegal activity, and to protect the rights and safety of our users and third parties.
Legal Compliance. To comply with applicable legal obligations, legal processes, or governmental requests.
3. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information in the following circumstances:
Service Providers. We share information with third-party service providers who perform services on our behalf, including cloud hosting providers, payment processors, email delivery services, and analytics providers. These providers are contractually obligated to use your information only to provide services to us and in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
Marketplace Platforms. When you use the Service to respond to buyer messages, your responses are transmitted back to the applicable Marketplace through their official APIs. This is necessary to provide the core functionality of the Service.
AI Service Providers. We may transmit message content and order data to third-party AI providers (such as Anthropic or OpenAI) to generate AI-powered responses. This data is processed in accordance with our agreements with these providers and is not used to train their general-purpose models.
Business Transfers. If Flashpricer LLC is involved in a merger, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any such change in ownership or control of your personal information.
Legal Requirements. We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid legal process, including subpoenas, court orders, or government requests.
Protection of Rights. We may disclose your information where we believe it is necessary to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding potential violations of these Terms, suspected fraud, threats to the safety of any person, or as evidence in litigation.
With Your Consent. We may share your information for any other purpose with your explicit consent.
4. Data Security
4.1. We implement commercially reasonable technical, administrative, and organizational security measures designed to protect your information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction.
4.2. These measures include encryption of data in transit (TLS/SSL) and at rest, access controls, regular security assessments, and secure software development practices.
4.3. Your Marketplace API credentials are encrypted and stored securely. We do not store your Marketplace account passwords.
4.4. Despite our efforts, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee the absolute security of your information.
4.5. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Account credentials and for any activity that occurs under your Account.
5. Data Retention
5.1. We retain your Account information and Customer Data for as long as your Account is active or as needed to provide the Service.
5.2. Following cancellation or termination of your Account, we will retain your Customer Data for 90 days to allow for data export requests. After this period, your Customer Data may be permanently deleted.
5.3. We may retain certain information as required by law, for legitimate business purposes (such as resolving disputes and enforcing our agreements), or as part of our regular backup procedures.
5.4. Aggregated, anonymized data that cannot be used to identify you may be retained indefinitely for analytics and improvement purposes.
6. Your Rights and Choices
6.1 Account Information
You may update or correct your Account information at any time by logging into your Account settings. You may request deletion of your Account by contacting us at privacy@lunadesk.ai.
6.2 Data Export
You may request an export of your Customer Data at any time during your active Subscription by contacting us at support@lunadesk.ai. We will provide the export in a commonly used, machine-readable format within 30 days.
6.3 Marketing Communications
You may opt out of marketing communications at any time by clicking the “unsubscribe” link in our emails or by contacting us at support@lunadesk.ai. You cannot opt out of service-related communications necessary for the operation of your Account.
6.4 Cookies
You may control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling certain cookies may affect the functionality of the Service. See Section 7 for more details.
6.5 California Residents — CCPA Rights
If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA):
Right to Know. You have the right to request information about the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the categories of sources from which the information was collected, the business purpose for collecting the information, and the categories of third parties with whom we share the information.
Right to Delete. You have the right to request that we delete the personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions.
Right to Opt-Out of Sale. We do not sell personal information as defined under the CCPA.
Right to Non-Discrimination. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your CCPA rights.

6.6 Other State Privacy Rights
Residents of other U.S. states with applicable privacy legislation (including Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, and others) may have similar rights to access, correct, delete, and port their personal information, as well as the right to opt out of certain data processing activities. 7. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
7.1 Types of Cookies We Use
Essential Cookies. Required for the operation of the Service, including authentication, session management, and security. These cannot be disabled.
Analytics Cookies. Help us understand how users interact with the Service by collecting usage data in an aggregated and anonymized form. We use these to improve the Service.
Preference Cookies. Allow the Service to remember choices you make (such as display settings) and provide enhanced features.
7.2 Third-Party Analytics
We may use third-party analytics services, such as Google Analytics, to help us understand how users interact with the Service. These services may use cookies and similar technologies to collect and analyze usage information.
7.3 Do Not Track
The Service does not currently respond to “Do Not Track” browser signals. However, you may control cookies through your browser settings as described above.
8. AI and Automated Processing
8.1. The Service uses artificial intelligence to analyze buyer messages and order data, draft response suggestions, and, when enabled, automatically send responses on your behalf.
8.2. AI processing involves transmitting relevant message content, order data, and your configured rules to AI language models to generate responses. This processing is necessary to provide the AI features of the Service.
8.3. We may use aggregated and anonymized data derived from the Service to improve our AI models and algorithms. This data cannot be used to identify individual users or their customers.
8.4. We do not use your identifiable Customer Data to train AI models that would benefit other customers without your explicit consent.
8.5. You can control which AI features are active on your Account, including disabling auto-send functionality, through your Account settings.
9. Children’s Privacy
The Service is not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 18, we will take steps to delete such information promptly. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 18, please contact us at privacy@lunadesk.ai.
10. International Data Transfers
The Service is operated from the United States. If you are accessing the Service from outside the United States, please be aware that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, where our servers are located and our databases are operated. The data protection and privacy laws of the United States may differ from those of your jurisdiction.
11. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technologies, legal requirements, or other factors. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Privacy Policy on our website and, where appropriate, by sending you an email notification. The “Last Updated” date at the top of this Privacy Policy indicates when it was last revised. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
